Involvement

At Webb Ocular Prosthetics we strive to not only help our patients regain “normalcy” to every day life but we also educate students, doctors and surgeons around the world. Bringing awareness, attention to detail and aid in the medical understanding of our niche and precise industry.

Michael Webb is on the committee at the Craniofacial Clinic at the Hospital for Sick Children and Scientific Staff of the Ophthalmology Department at Mount Sinai Hospital. He has been invited to lecture around the world - some countries include; Dublin, Ireland, Jeddah and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Chicago, IL, Barbados, as well as within Canada to the University of Toronto, University of Waterloo and Queen’s University. Publishing numerous journal articles over his career. He holds the title of Fellow of the American Society of Ocularists (F.A.S.O), Board Certified Ocularist (B.C.O) and a Diplomat Ocularist (B.A.D.O).

Chelsea Webb is on staff with SickKids - she helps our little patients by being scheduled in the OR and working with an incredible team of surgeons, doctors, nurses and staff. She has lectured across North America for the American Society of Ocularists - some States in America include; Chicago, IL, Orlando, Florida, San Fransisco. She holds the title of Board Certified Ocularist (B.C.O), Diplomat Ocularist (B.A.D.O) and was awarded the Joseph A. LeGrand Award during her years of studies. This award is presented to one Ocularist each year who is recognized for academic achievements, presentations as well as contributions to the American Society of Ocularists.

Webb Ocular Prosthetics sponsors and attends the annual Jack Crawford Conference, which focuses on Pediatric Ophthalmology.
